Weekend Road Tests in Amherst
License exams are available at most Registry locations. To make an appointment, go to mass.gov and schedule your test at your desired location at a time that fits into your schedule. You will need a car with a center console emergency brake along with a sponsor.
Weekend Road Tests in Amherst
For our convenience, and the convenience of our students, we hire an RMV examiner to come to our
location at 256 North Pleasant St to administer license exams. This normally happens twice a month on
a Saturday or Sunday morning.
Examiners are assigned by the RMV and are scheduled around their availability, therefore harder to come
by in the summer and in months with holidays. None of these tests are guaranteed.
These tests are limited in number and are available for PVDS students only.
PVDS students that have completed our certified DE program will already have a road test plan in place.
If you are a PRIVATE STUDENT that wants the convenience of testing with us on a weekend, you will
need to go pioneervalleydriving.com and register as a student of the school. Select the PAY LATER
option for a $75 private lesson. Call 413-253-7432 to schedule lessons. You will need to be endorsed
for a test by one of our instructors at least two and a half weeks before the test date. See our
schedule below and make a plan.
